Bearmach was a family-run company founded in 1958. The name originally derived from the two words BEARing and MACHinery. Since its beginnings, the company has specialised exclusively in the supply of Land Rover parts and accessories.
Over many decades Land Rover has had several changes of ownership, The Rover Company, British Leyland, BMW, Ford and now Tata. During this time Bearmach has helped keep Land Rovers running around the world.
Often copied but never bettered!
Bearmach has always been able to supply parts that are often forgotten or no longer available from other suppliers. This is particularly the case with parts for older Land Rover Series and early Defender models that the manufacturer no longer makes or supplies, and many of these vehicles would have otherwise been destined for the scrap yard.
Bearmach's competitive pricing and availability of parts over the years has helped towards the viable maintenance of older vehicles and keeping the legendary Land Rover name alive today.
In 1978 Bearmach embarked on a program of accessory development that would help ensure that the 'Work Horse' Land Rover would become a desirable leisure vehicle. This vision has been fulfilled with the current Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover models being the most desirable 4x4 and SUV's on the market with a loyal and enthusiastic customer base.
